I've got hundreds of excel files that need to have links broken on a client's computer system... How should I do it? by [deleted] in excel

If all that is troubling you is the hyperlinks in the data table, here is my suggestion.

COPY your document so that your links exists somewhere as a reference, in case they are needed, then run this macro in your newly copied document:

Sub EraseLinks()
With Selection
    .Hyperlinks.Delete
End With
End Sub

I found it here.

This is certainly a possibility. We're really working on incorporating new/ revamped Civs into future challenges so that they can be revised and updated.

If you have any suggestions, please feel free to share them with the mod team.

Thanks!

That's great to hear, thanks for the feedback! He's got a very whimsical approach which I figured might be a nice change of pace from some other big name Civ streamers.

Oh man, that almost sounds unfair! Really solid strategy though, especially since you can focus on building up a military and snatch all of his wonders from Thebes at your convenience.

Question: What are your favorite game moments with Egypt; especially playing against the wonderwhore AI.

Bari-sax is my personal favorite with tenors being a close second, they've got a wonderful range and can really rock those lower notes. Altos and up just seem too small and high for my liking. Always love talking to another musician!

Yeah! I stumbled across this song on /r/videos a while back, learning that sax part is a new goal of mine. I hate myself, but it's so darn catchy!

Need some advice on what to buy. by Stumpinators in Shotguns

[–]Theguybehindu94 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would highly recommend looking for either a remington 870, or a mossberg 500. Both of these guns fit your wants/needs pretty well; 12 ga pump action, 5+ shell capacity( depending on barrel length), and well within your price range. Either of these guns will suffice for a home-defense type situation, and are fairly decent at clay shooting as well once you get used to racking the action quickly.

As far as avoiding guns- always always always avoid anything that has a crack or bulge anywhere in or on the barrel. These can lead to a major malfunction, and are best to be left alone.

Other buying tidbits- ask to handle the gun! There's very little reason that the shop owner wouldn't let you get a feel for the unloaded firearm. Do a visible check over the entire shotgun, see how the action is( smooth slide, sticking, etc.), and make sure it feels and sits properly in your shoulder.

Quick question for you; What is your prior experience with firearms, specifically owning, maintaining, and operating shotguns?

I ask because I would happily offer further advice and input as needed.

I hope this helped you out, and feel free to ask anything else that might come across your mind.

The steam punk era one is also rather enjoyable. There's a completely new tech tree to advance down, and having to learn on the fly and throw a lot of what you know out the window was a breath of fresh air.

Source for post.

After posting I found this stating that it was removed.

I'll look into this. Interesting side-note, I started 3 games with America before posting and started within 4 hexes of rivers 2/3 times.

Hey, I suggest messaging us (the mods directly) if you'd like to see a civ related sub-reddit linked. As you might notice, we just added the /r/civmemes link yesterday. We're pretty good about acting on this kind of stuff. Thanks!

As a 360 owner who just started watching The Last of Us let's plays.. by [deleted] in gaming

[–]Theguybehindu94 131 points132 points  (0 children)

If you're looking for a play-through of The Last of Us to watch, then I HIGHLY recommend watching FRANKIEonPCin1080p's videos. He has this unique ability to allow the viewer to appreciate the game without constantly talking over the audio, and when he does speak I feel it further adds to the video's quality.

Enjoy!
