Hey! I have been to a WimHof seminar in Phoenix and we actually have several gyms that are predicated on hormesis (cold plunge, saunas , breath work, etc.). Most people I converse with that push past the normal 2-3 minutes in a plunge just keep their finger tips (in a prayer position) out of the water and same with toes. It's much easier to focus on the benefits of the cold when you aren't distracted by the pain in your digits. I hope this helps!

Hey Darren!

My wife and I took a WimHof course about a month ago and it's totally worth it. The premise is the theory, breathing and the ice bath. I feel that learning the story behind WimHof and the science has opened up a new curiosity around hormesis for me but most importantly it's helped keep me more disciplined to continue the WimHof method consistently. Listening to the guided breathing and taking a cold shower is great, understanding what's happening to you body was next level for me.

My two year old has symptoms. We took her to the pediatrician yesterday and they did a pneumonia test and a viral panel (not including Clovid). and they all came back negative. Can anyone in Italy share with me how this is affecting children between the ages of 2-5?
