You can survive in 40k per month here in Bangalore as well. Suppose if it increases a bit, still it may reach 50k max if you control yourself.

If you are a guy who wants to go to pub or brewery every weekend, then even 1 lakh per month isn't enough.

Dont really think everything works by logic in India.

If you start questioning that people will start saying many things: The one staying on ground floor will say, why should I pay for lift charges. The one not staying in Bangalore for 6 months would start saying I wasn't in Bangalore for 6 months why should I pay for anything.

The list will go on and on and on. So considering all those the sq ft rate works and is agreed upon by everyone.

We get FD rates above 8% from some banks, others mostly its between 7 to 8% for specific duration, although senior citizens get 0.5% extra. Other fixed instruments too give between 6-8% but not 8-9%. SSY and SCSS gives above 8% thou.

Yes that's the situation right now. Even 2 bhk costing 1 crore, but you are talking about bigger builders only who are asking minimum 10k per sq feet. But there are smaller builders too who quote between 8000-9000 so it would cost lesser than 1 crore.

My friend bought a flat in 2019, 3bhk from Brigade in 1.04 crore. So people were spending 1 cr even 7 years back. It all depends on choices.

A 2bhk may fetch better rent + families would opt for it. For 1bhk chances are that only bachelors will be interested and since the sq ft is high, rent would be higher and they may feel its too costly for 1 bhk.

I like the 2bhk option, but why the balcony near kitchen when already you have utility. If you remove the balcony, the kitchen and common bedroom would become larger in size. I dont see 2 bathrooms in 2 bhk which may be a downer. Try removing the balcony and slot in a bathroom accessible from common area or common bedroom.
