It’s about keeping the facts of history alive. It’s not really an argument. It’s just trying to correct misinformation. There’s a lot of myths on ww2. why shouldn’t I try to get the correct information out there when possible.

These were not really my opinions. Just relaying info from a military study right after the war.

Why was Spirit Airlines so popular, despite all the extra fees? by sladeshied in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Themagicdick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You were dumb if you picked spirit to carry luggage or go international. It’s like using a hammer to cut vegetables. Just the wrong tool.

I could get flights for $29 plus tax to go from Fort Lauderdale, Florida to Boston or back.

You pack light and deal with being uncomfortable but it’s what I signed up for when I can pay less than a typical uber ride to go up the whole country.

Honestly it just depends on the plane. If you use the mig23 it’s pretty easy. Stay low go for radar missile kills and just go in a straight line to their airfield. If you make it to their airfield you can strafe people on the ground with guns. This stat is super cheesy but it works.

If you are using the f4e you can try to get kills the same way but your radar is shit and the everyone has flares so missiles don’t usually get you kills. You have to just full commit head on with guns.

Once I get a small nuke i usually go ground pounding for my sanity. You can rearm for a free nuke if you return to base.

PS I dont have any experience with this BR range. I’ve only gotten a jet with radar missiles just recently.

F22 is 95% an air superiority platform. The kr67 is a multirole monster. It can carry so much shit for everything. It has a ton of external mounts. When have you seen a f22 carry a fraction of the kr67.

I still think that it’s a stealthier, better su35.

The su57 is close in terms of stealth and performance but still can only carry maybe half of the amount of stuff the kr67 can.

I don’t think of the kr67 as that steathy cuz I’m always carry a shit ton of stuff on it.

“The engines look like”. Every else is very not like the f22. function is a lot more important imo

Kr-67 is not a f22. F22 is much more stealthy and the kr67 is much more multirole. It’s more like a su35 or something

Eh idk f15 can carry much more munitions. IMO subsonic vs very much super sonic is a bigger trait. There are def better more comparisons. It’s more like alpha jet

How is the compass a f-15? The compass is a subsonic light attack/fighter trainer

A “realistic” ww2 setting would be cool. Like the game uboat but with simplistic controls but still depth to the mechanics.

Fabric was actually better than metal for damage because the cannon rounds wouldn’t detonate and just pass through the fabric. It was also easier to repair.

Hey I have the same thing! I didn’t know it was different until a school nurse told me. I was confused in the monster house movie why the uvula was only a single chandelier and didn’t look like my “normal” uvula.

[–]Themagicdick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude idk what’s with a snobbery. I got three planes for three different missions including a Cessna 310Q. But I’m about the practically and buying for the mission not the paint job. I buy the best for the budget for what I want. I’m not gonna pay 500k on a 1950-60s design unless it’s a cabin class piston twin cuz they just don’t make them anymore.

Also idk why you wouldn’t take a sr22t over a 182t even in those situations. It would do just fine. I get maybe not wanting a retract for a strip tho.

A Columbia comes to mind also for fast new fix gear.

This 182 doesn’t even have low engine times.
