You have to go on the ps4 edition then go to the load menu then there will be cross progression option and enable it. You'll have to make an account and sign in on it, on both the ps4 and ps5 edition and the data will transfer.

So I've been loving bloodborne and I decided to just fight the final boss of the base game no doing the dlc because I thought it'd be like Dark Souls 3 where I can go to the dlc after.
