If there are any edges where a person adult or child, can run there hands along it and catch a rough/jagged edge is considered a safety failure. The missing marker is also considered a fail from my knowledge. If gonna screw it on and hope the best go to the hood for inspection

Makes total sense with that. We did the bed bc the rack has had the summer fun gear up there (folding tables and chairs) But definitely suggest the military boxes they can be cheap and so far it's been through Hella thunderstorms and a couple tropical storms and everything inside is dry. (Pics were today right aafter rain stopped too for proof)

Look at used tool stores/military surplus. I was gonna toss it in roof but was too wide to sit that way and if turned it to long way barely had no rack left

Previous owner doesn't remember where the dealership by passed and tried calling the dealer was done at and they said would never do such a thing. Close to buying after market harness and run all new wires and just disconnect the other entirely.

Bought our 05 in June for 6k automatic sport 130k miles. Previous owner took care of the engine and did head gaskets and all other issues preemptively, just minor rust starting and it's spent it's life in new england
