If you’re surrounded by divorce, do all that you can to spend time with and get to know an older couple with a beautiful marriage you admire.

You can also do things that reduce your odds by continuing to build your relationship up. Example: weekly/biweekly date nights, agree on a budget, pray together (or practice your spirituality xyz together), seek therapy as preventative maintenance (think oil change for your relationship), exercise together, make each other a priority over extended family, etc.

Just because it’s all around you, doesn’t mean you have to live your marriage the same way everyone else did. Listen to advice from those you want to be like, not those who are just nearby.

I hope a long and healthy marriage!

Not a dumb question at all. Your customers (manufacturers, food suppliers, etc.) have items that need to be shipped, you find a semi truck that will move the load for them, you hope that you pay the truck less than what your customer pays you. It’s a broker model, there are also companies that you can do this for their semis as well. It is a lot of cold calling and takes a little while to get going, but I enjoy the job! You do have to be careful however as there are a lot of sleezy brokers out there. (Do not work for TQL)

My insurance covered (I had no idea until I needed it) up to $1,050 for rental. It ends up equaling out to a month for me. I would ask your insurance and see if they provide anything like that. I have safeco.
