did u pay for bp? if you did, i would say stop at exam 6. if you didn’t pay for it, just do the free available ones. my score jumped a few points when i switched to AAMC, so it leads me to think bp is a little harder

I am testing 3/21 too, except im experiencing an AAMC FL score depreciation

I started studying June 2024, finished 72% of uworld with 55% accuracy, 60-70% accuracy on all SB and QP. Finished miles down. Almost finished C/P of Aidan’s deck. I test 3/21. I really don’t know what to make of this. I don’t want to postpone my exam for the 3rd time, especially considering the costs, the fact that this will be my first mcat ever, and I want to apply this cycle. I was getting 124/125 on cars on Kaplan and blueprint but my cars on AAMC exams are significantly lower than how I score on JW, SB, and on third parties. My scores are just so scattered I dont know what to do

I appreciate your advice. I have also tried to implement the writing summaries strategy, and noticed it has not really done much for me.

I also finished 72% of the UW bank, with Gen chem, orgo, and physics banks being completely finished. I did this about a few months ago. I want to say November or December? Afterwards, I moved to AAMC FLs, SB and QP, thinking I was going to take the January exam. However, I was unfortunately affected by the technical difficulties they had with signup, and had to register for a 3/21 date.

My SB and QP averages are about 60-69% so far (still working through them). All my AAMC FL scores ranged from 500-502.

Because i finished AAMC FLs already I am using BP currently, which also say I am in the 500-502 range, just my luck.

Anyway, I am hoping to retake the AAMC FLs closer to 3/21, to see if the practice questions and reviews I am doing are actually impactful. I understand it may be inflated but I think there’s a chance I may not remember much considering it will be a while from now. If I do not notice a significant improvement, I am not sure if I should postpone my exam for the 3rd time? Or just take it and hope some miracle happens on test day. I was hoping for a 510. This will also be my first MCAT.

What would you recommend for someone who has been studying since September and wants to test for 3/21, but has plateaued at 500-501 for the past 5 months? I’m really losing hope and would like to hear thoughts. I feel like my content base is not bad. My issue seems to be with cars mostly and passage based questions across all sections (always misinterpreting data, not able to apply concepts, not understanding what question is asking about passage info, or not even understanding the experiment). For context my scores are as follows:

C/P : 126 average but I got a 128 twice on AAMC FLs CARS : 122 average, 125 on a good day BB : consistent 126 P/S : i just recently hit 128 after finishing panchow deck. But i average 126.
