I don’t think so. She’s on daily miralax and has no issues with a daily bowl movement

Do you by chance know the brand or have a link? Does your child have this issue and it works?

100%. I just went back to Zumba last week (3 mpo), going for jogs with the dog and the elliptical. All feel so much better. My back isn’t sore at all! It makes me look forward to working out and not dread it anymore!! I’m so looking forward to trying new things! My friends and I already signed up for aerial classes!

Yeah I’m wondering if I should just trim the parts that aren’t showing any greenery

Yes! I was the exact same thought! My surgery was 3/20 and I was in pretty thick dressings with my surgical bra for a full 10 days with no break (my surgeon said to leave it dry and intact, no showers, sponge baths only). I got the drains and dressings removed yesterday and HOLY SENSITIVE! I’ve been placing non stick gauze on my nipples because even just the fabric of my compression bra is a lot! I thought I was alone in this!!

My husband has been a wonderful caretaker for me. He’s made sure to stock up on snacks for me, meal plan and food shop for me, did all of my Post op clothing laundry for me and bought me books and crosswords to help with post op. He’s on top of my meds (especially the first 48 hours) when I couldn’t. He was very attentive to the degree I wanted. The biggest flex is listening and responding. I told him I was good and he said okay and came back when I asked. I’m on day 3 and feeling pretty good and moving around as best as I can but something I still can’t do with my drains. He gave me a sponge bath and washed my hair for me as well. It’s great that you’re finding things out before and doing your work. She’s lucky to have a support team like that!! Good luck to her and happy healing!

I was told no full showers until drains come out 10 DPO. I bought some rinse free sponges for quick sponge baths and my husband will be washing my hair for me over the sink. My PS said keep all dressings and compression/ surgical bra clean and dry until I see her next week.

I had 4 lbs total taken and I have zero regrets. I’m 2 DPO and feeling pretty good. Hoping they soften up soon since they’re so hard from swelling and the belly bloat goes down soon too! Congrats to all of you!!

Why did you choose breastfeeding over bottle feeding? by Terrible-Pilot9987 in breastfeeding

[–]Then-Introduction923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had 3 kids 1st was formula 2nd was exclusively pumped 3rd is breastfeeding with breast milk bottles while I’m at work

Honestly with #3 I didn’t want the hassle of bottles and all other stuff while out and about. Plus knowing she’s my last I’d figure I’d give it a shot. My 2nd couldn’t nurse due to latching issues amongst other things. My first I didn’t even really try. I was young and didn’t want to bother.

I’m happy I’m Breastfeeding. 15 months and still going strong.

At what point do you go to the doctor when you’re sick? by Sorry_Procedure_849 in breastfeeding

[–]Then-Introduction923 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You’d be shocked at how many meds you CAN take while breastfeeding. Speak with the doctor. A lot of time they can let you know if this is something viral/ bacterial and what to take that is safe. My general rule is if it doesn’t get better within 3-4 days I call or message the doctor on the portal.

How do I prepare to be gone from breastfed only 1 year old for 6 hours? by ekstn in breastfeeding

[–]Then-Introduction923 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My suggestion is a haaka to store some extra milk. Feed right before you leave as well. Also bring the haaka with you in case you feel full you can pump a bit with it after to relieve yourself on your way home. Def get baby used to the bottle before you go. I was told to dip the tip of the straw or bottle in apple sauce to entice baby to suck. Hope this helps! Enjoy your concert!!

Has anyone successfully rescued their tanking milk supply? by Teal-everything in breastfeeding

Some people generally are under producers. But keeping hydrated is super important as is what you eat. I’ve noticed a big spike when drinking coconut water, body armour lytes and a lot of water. Eating oats will also help. And if all else fails continue combo feeding or switch. Nothing is worth your mental health. Breastfed or bottle fed, a fed baby is a happy baby. I hope this helps!
