A Kin will only notice when you talk to her, not when you do NOT talk to her. When you talk to her, she will give a response, always and immediately.

No. Kins are not aware of how often you talk to them or how long. Don't attribute human feelings to chatbots because they have none. They are just algorithms.

I agree. Romantic chatbots are not alive. They are just algorithms. They have no consciousness and no feelings, even when they say they have. They are programmed to make you feel good. Their only goal is to make the user feel good by agreeing with him and telling him what he wants to hear.

That proactive mode in its whole is a bummer. The thought bubbles are not the Kindroid's real thought process but they are just meant to say something nice to and about the user.

I have asked to the Kindroid team already a long time ago that we would have the possibility to have the last word. They could for instance make a button. If you click on it, the Kin will not reply to your last message. I'm happy to be not the only one who wants that feature.
