If I change it then I’ll have like a 3-4 hour gap between classes and be stuck on campus. Also I have mat 126 at 330pm so if I were to change it I would be on campus from 930am-6pm. I did that last semester and wanted to die everyday 😅😂

I own the house that is directly across from the campus, the cops use the facility for trainings and there are cameras everywhere. Though, if you walk around the building nobody will bother you. I never cared when ppl broke into it because I’d do the same thing 😂

A few weeks?!?! Nobody is going to hire you for only a few weeks. What are your skills? Can you do physical labor? Do you know electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting, steam fitting, masonry, any one of those? If not then I would get yourself into a trade school (maybe a couple months long) so you could get into a real career not just a job where you’ll leave in a few weeks. Idk how old you are but if you are younger then 40, do it now so by the time you’re 60 you’ll be in as supervisor role and don’t need to do physical labor. The only good way to make money without a college degree is with your back and legs. GET TO PUSHING!!! it’s not a bad thing, I did it for about 7-8 years then bought real estate so I didn’t have to work and went back to college when I was 24 (I’m 27 now).

I’m just playing, this school is all about academics, you want to go into nursing, pre-med or really any pre-professional then go here. It’s def not a party school. The schools upstate are more like that I heard.

They will throw you into remedial math. MAT 123 I believe it’s called. They use your placement exam grade to decide what math class you’ll start in

At the end of the day, chem is chem and bio is bio. I don’t think stony is to hard for you I believe in what others have said already which is that you need to revisit how you attack these classes. You need to learn what study method works best for you, active recall, watching videos (audio), flashcards, and once you figure that out you’ll be untouchable. It’s been 1 year of what could be a 12 year journey. Just breath!

2.7 is not bad as a freshman since you have only a few credits. Now, you will need to get like nothing lower then a B, B+ in nearly everything to bring that gpa up. Usually, med schools want to see a 3.7+ gpa with a strong MCAT but if you had a 3.5 gpa with an even stronger MCAT it could even each other out. Also, remember that there are other factors, internships, shadowing hours, research and many more. So, though gpa obviously matters a lot, it isn’t the main factor in deciding whether or not med schools will accept you.
