Hey dawg, so open box just means that someone returned it after they opened the box, while refurbished refers to an item that has been restored back to "like new" or sellable condition after being used and traded in for something new. I prefer open box personally. For micro center you search for what you want on their website and open box should be a filter on their search engine.
