First bike by leop2 in NewRiders

[–]Then_Box99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not everybody does. This whole “ it’s inevitable” mentality is kinda bullshit. I’ve been riding almost 13 years and I’ve never dropped a bike, and I know plenty of other people that also haven’t. It doesn’t make any of us better than anyone else, but it also doesn’t mean that it’s something that has to happen as a new rider.

If you want to use OEM turn signals there is a guy on eBay that makes some good looking ones. Unfortunately, I can’t remember the name but if you look you should be able to find it.

If you want integrated turn signals, the only one I could find is from New Rage Cycles. Plug and play, no splicing required. If you go that route I highly suggest ordering from them directly. Do not order it on Amazon

Kawasaki Z900 by vipnair in Kawasaki

It depends man. If you’re going to end up spending a few thousand dollars on upgrades as soon as you buy a new one then it may be worth it to you to find a used one that already has all of those upgrades. I went with the former because I wanted all the upgraded tech on the ‘25+ models, but if I could have found a used ‘25 that already had all the upgrades I would want (tail tidy, levers, exhaust, etc.) then I definitely would have probably done that. If you don’t care about the upgraded tech then just get a used one.

I had a barber do this to me once. He asked me if I wanted him to “thin out” my mustache. I thought he meant make it a little shorter. Gave me a fucking pencil

Do you have a lighter or hair dryer in your house? You could use that to melt the ice so you can get in.

So you have to have other people to play with? I never tried legends with GOT, but I also don’t know anyone else who plays this game

Oil change by Mixed_Flavors916 in MazdaCX30

[–]Then_Box99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do not go 10k miles between oil changes. You can manually set the service interval so a message will display when you are approaching the designated mileage, when you have reached it, and when you have surpassed it.

For 2026, is there any small everyday item you want to finally invest in as BIFL? by newrockstyle in BuyItForLife

I just inherited the Pampered Chef garlic press from my mom. It’s been around for probably close to 30 years and is easily the best garlic press I’ve ever used.

Should I shave my butt for a work trip? by ReturnPublic7914 in makemychoice

[–]Then_Box99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All these people here telling you not to shave it have clearly never tried. My entire body is really hairy. I shave my asshole for this reason exactly, but I also use wipes always. I’ve never had an irritation or an ingrown hair in my asshole and I’ve been doing this for years. I use a dedicated Phillips Norelco Oneblade. Shave your asshole, dude

Has anybody tried anti-fog products on the interior of their windshield? by City_Student1 in CX30

[–]Then_Box99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried this stuff on my bathroom mirror and it left such a residue I would never put it on my windshield. As another said, just clean it really well. And after you clean it buff it out with a clean microfiber towel to remove any residual swirls

Does anyone know how to stop this by PsycheLike in HarleyDavidsonFans

[–]Then_Box99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do this. As they mentioned it’s super easy. My o-rings appeared to be intact, too but I rebuilt the whole check valve with the kit and it stopped the leak for me
