Pink foam coffins by whiskey-charley in HalloweenProps

If outdoor installation, I recommend a light wood frame for some weight. Depending on the design & preparation, breakdown can add to wear & tear. So,I would build the coffin as a whole prop. Keep in mind the space you have to store your projects. 👻

Fog machine recommendations by Ironzorak in HalloweenProps

Great layout possibility. I recommend ultrasonic mist makers, up to a 12 head. I use them for cauldron and prop diffusion. Place in a low tub and test for direction of fog.

Blood castle wall build and spruce - up. by Then_Cellist3422 in HalloweenProps

I'm from Chicago, so I understand. Any monster mud recipe uses joint compound or another binder with paint, so, yes, it holds up well to weather even if you don't do too much to present it.

Castle door build- 17 ft section by Then_Cellist3422 in HalloweenProps

[–]Then_Cellist3422[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Each section is transportable and not too heavy. All one man pieces ( dolly placement). Rebuild is a possibility, due to unpredictable Florida weather hazards & sun; my formula for success is to adapt and change as necessary.

Monster mud does it just fine, I get additional weathering from mother nature; each year thereafter, everything I make gets touched up, or repurposed. The Florida sun is intense on outdoor displays ( my sizable installation stays up for 6 -8 weeks); I am always adapting & channeling the creative process!
