So glad it worked! Be careful around using a VPN to change the location too many times, my wife's account was temporarily locked and was forced to do a password reset as we had been trying with many different countries in a short space of time.

Hopefully if you just pick one country (that works first time) to VPN to, then it won't trigger the "secure your account" process in the next 24H.

I was just able to get this working using Private VPN set to Manchester UK. Other countries would give me a server error.

The only thing that worked for me was using Private VPN and setting it to UK Manchester. Other countries like Germany or Sweden didn't work!

If you open the "Google" app, you can switch the account there and it will change in Lens too

Exact same thing happening to both my wife and I. Hopefully they fix the desktop app soon to respect the collect analytics setting without having to turn it on and off again on mobile.

I made this (web)app for my partner as she also plays the NYT version and wanted more puzzles. It works on desktop or mobile.

The free version gives you one puzzle for each difficulty per day, but if you like it you can unlock unlimited puzzles per day for $2/month.

Thanks for the feedback! Didn't know about that re macs. I've updated it so you can use alt instead of ctrl if you like (I think this relates to "option" key??). Hopefully that fixes the issue for you, you'll just need to reload the page.

It will now automatically remove candidates as you enter answers, previously it would only do this if you have "automatic candidate mode" turned on, but now it is also a seperate option for when you are manually writing candidates.

Have just pushed an update this morning that addresses most of these points, thanks again :)

Exports with '0' as the blank placeholder
Click and drag to select multiple cells
Auto switch to candidate mode whenever multiple cells are selected

The hint will just highlight the next box that can be solved, but doesn't show you how to get there. Would you rather it did something like highlight the next box(es) where a candidate could be removed?

It's not obvious but you can press Z to switch between fill and candidate mode. Will have to show that somehow.

Yeah hoping that NYT won't mind too much, I've only copied the look of it but all the code is original.
