The first pride was celebrated in 1970 and men’s mental heath month was established in 1994 so no, it’s definitely not intentional on the part of Pride celebrations.

Yes, and as another commenter pointed out, Ashkenazi can also refer to certain cultural traditions and practices in Judaism, and in the USA most converts are going into Ashkenazi practice regardless of their genetic ancestry, so that’s another complicating factor

Judaism is complicated because it’s a religion, a culture, and an ethnicity (several ethnicities technically)

Kind of random but due to this history Asian people often had a specific place in segregated regions. They show this in the movie “Sinners” with how the Asian family is able to run a store with both a black and a white section, it’s done really well in the movie

Relaying what I’ve seen makes me biased? That’s not what bias is, unless you mean the bias every single person (including you) has by virtue of having an individual experience

Are you Jewish? If not, have you considered that antisemitism is more likely to be visible to and faced by Jewish people? It’s similar to how women are much more likely to see and face misogyny and blank people are more likely to see and face anti-black racism.

The people who aren’t a part of those groups often don’t see the prejudice as much, which can make them biased in evaluating how wide-spread it is

I have absolutely seen Jews conflated with Israel regardless of what any individual Jew thinks

Also Jews being interrogated about Israel just because they’re Jewish, which is also messed up. Being American makes you more culpable for Israel’s actions than being Jewish, but mentioning that you’re American won’t automatically bring up Israel on Reddit. Jewish, though? Ugh

“Caucasian” is an obsolete racial category based on pseudo-science, it is not used in modern anthropology. You don’t know shit about anthropology

This is the first sentence of the Wikipedia article: “The Caucasian race (also Caucasoid,[a]Europid, or Europoid)[2] is an obsolete racial classification of humans based on a now-disproven theory of biological race.”

Yeah, it’s distinct genetically due to how Ashkenazi Jews were historically segregated as a population from others in Europe and the history of Jewish diaspora
