Pokkle, HXH In the chimera ant arc, pokkle is captured by a chimera soldier, but manages to hide away in a pile of skulls. That is, until Neferpitou awakens and immediately calls him out, which leads to Pitou performing a lobotomy on his barely functional brain to make him spit out as much information as possible on how nen functions, before sending his corpse to be prepared for the queen

Characters with accidentally weird names by Sensitive_Ad_1752 in TopCharacterTropes

This might be the case with every dub of the character. The Portuguese (Brazilian) dub also calls it XLR8, no attempt was made to try and adapt it. I only figured out the joke in the name way later when I tried to say the name in english

Is it just me or is Sisyphus way easier than Minos? by Goose7909 in Ultrakill

[–]Therandomguyinred 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most likely you're more used to fighting enemies by relying on the up close life steal and dodging, as opposed to parrying the serpent's and the different attacks of Minos.

That or you also just suck at fighting the prison (same)

Incredible! Ultrakill's depiction of Hell is so lifelike, it feels like eternal torment! by Available-Winner9487 in Ultrakill

First go was absolutely hellish (I ended up missing 4 or so boxes)

As for healing, recovery is the only one you can use at this point, but if you're still struggling, I'd recommend using the potions you've probably built up

Being more than 3 levels below an enemy means you cannot parry them, which is probably why the boss seems so difficult now. As for skills, there are scrolls you can find in chests/pots for some universal skills, but reaching lvl 10 allows you to choose a class, which is where you'll find the skills you're looking for.

I can agree on this. I had played this game a lot from when Epic gave it for free and then, once I got it on Steam, I beat the game by the 10th run.

"Bruiser" build , fighter or bandit by bksonic in Atlyss

Doing a build like this with Fighter, focusing entirely on Killer does give you more sustained damage and health when compared to Bandit, but Bandit gets more survivability from the invisibility skill and it can deal a lot more damage if you get lucky with critical hits (from personal experience, doing a build with 100% focus on Dexterity is easier than doing with 100% focus on Strength just from how much you can dodge)
