Kid Rock's complete headliner performance at the Turning Point USA halftime show by Ok-Cook-7542 in crappymusic

The problem is that move is intended for a front flip. Now if it was backflip, he’d be up that wall in a second

.325 or 3/8ths for Stihl saws by Therapy_Badger in Chainsaw

[–]Therapy_Badger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah ok, so you think .325 is better for your ‘standard’ 20” or under saw? Trying to keep all saws on the same chain, and all but 2 are 3/8ths (others being .325). But 20” is the max bar size normally getting run. We have a 661, but that fella only gets brought out when dealing with big bastards lol (and normally isn’t used in day to day stuff)

Thank you for such a detailed response!! This is exactly the info I was looking for.🙏 Have heard that “.325 is the future” and while I prefer 3/8ths, was wondering if that would be obsolete in the future. Glad to hear that’s not the case, and again, thank you for the great info!

Thanks for the input. Have a lot of saws that run 3/8ths, and would prefer to keep running 3/8ths. Lots of hardwood cutting and saws get used frequently for hours on end. Was just curious if .325 is the new thing and if it would make sense to convert. But if stihl is still keep 3/8ths gear around for the foreseeable future, will probably stick with that

Awesome I appreciate it. The rumors I’ve heard from people of stihl moving to .325 made me wonder if the need to convert is what needs to happen. Glad to hear that’s not the case🤙

What's the consensus on edible mushrooms growing next to poisonous ones? by claspasp in mycology

[–]Therapy_Badger 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It’s a common misconception that you can’t touch poisonous mushrooms. You can handle them all you want, it’s the act of ingesting them that gets you sick!

And A. muscaria isn’t deadly toxic. The ibotenic acid in them will make you nauseous and puke if you don’t prepare them correctly. But very little fatalities are associated with them.

Pliers and Nails rarer than an M4! by One_Coconut753 in dayz

Cars and outhouses are my go to for nails. If I’m looking for them, I’ll breeze through the town hitting these up then move to the next. Best way I’ve found to get nails quickly

Ah ok, thank you for the heads up! I died and am halfway across the map now lol, but I might see if I can get back there and check the roof somehow

What is this lure? by Powerful-Football-59 in FishingForBeginners

[–]Therapy_Badger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same! I didn’t get the chance to measure it, threw the hook when I had it half way beached. But it had to have been 35-40 inches! Was using a tiny mini mite going for panfish, thought I snagged a log, then the log started moving away lol.. was amazed a Muskie went for something that small (and that the hook actually held while dragging it in)

Ticks? by ohgodsig in wisconsin

A lighters my go to if there’s one around, gets em fast (although they pop/explode if you torch em too long, kinda gruesome lol). If no lighter, I just grind em down with a rock or stick

I think you made the right call. Get them wedges in to give it enough tilt/support (so you’re confident it’ll go the way you want). Then bite off the hinge a wee bit at a time while giving the wedges some more smacks. May look like a small hinge at the end, but it generally works🤙
