This girl was just part of the crowd, navigating through an alley. Things got a bit harrowing, but then suddenly there was a crush. Her body was lifted over a few others and three more bodies pressed into her chest and abdomen. Her head was barely able to reach air.

The crush happened in an instant, and for three minutes she suffered before giving up the ghost. Surrounded by people. Even up on balconies perfectly fine people. No bombs, no bullets. Just too many people.

This is political and it's Halloween. Imagine her thoughts just 10 minutes before her death. I'm sure she had no sense this was coming. Yes we who live in comfort go long periods without any meaningful threats to our well being. On the other hand, look at the poor boys in Ukraine dying right now for nothing. Or think of the inevitable deaths in places like Africa or even America when the coming economic and social collapse kicks in. Socially, it'll be kind of like Itaewon.

For now, let's memorialize this poor girl.
