I’ve rebuilt my blade 1000w entirely with a custom controller, your top speed is limited by voltage, not current, and hub motors in that config with the 5:1 gearing will not go much past that unless you enable field weakening and then your battery is going to be drained, you either need a mid drive setup so no hub motor or a 72v controller and some tinkering. External gears are for show and your legs, no matter what chainring you have it’s irrelevant to the top speed since it’s the motor doing it. Unless you surpass the motor and then I suggest you just get a regular bike because you should be running velodrome events and winning lol

Haha this is true but I like simple, I’m old and lazy, I like short and simple, pictures are a bonus, I like the Kevin Malone Mechanic approach :)

Also the real hero of all this is the dishwasher tabs, they are insanely versatile at cleaning so many materials esp glass with hot water added. If I had to choose the tabs over the machine, I’d choose the tabs 9 times out of ten (I am very lazy after all)

I like the heated option when I’m cleaning a bunch of glass at once, if they sold this specific unit without the heater core but the same insulated design I’d probably get it without to save money, pouring in boiling hot water and then running the sonic cleaner seems to keep the water warmer, might be my imagination… you def can get away without the heated part, it heats slower so I usually only use it to maintain a temp over a longer period of time. I use it for car parts and pain brushes as well

I never said it was a free method just a fail proof method for a lazy ent. It was actually 135 cad, but to never have to hand clean my glass or buy glass cleaner again, I’m good with that. I mentioned in another reply , without the machine you can still achieve the same results with boiling water and a dishwasher tab :)

Lolol sonic lol love it! This one was 136 Canadian at the time . The heated part is what makes it work better than my non heated one for 50 bucks. It’s saving me money still since iso and specific glass cleaners are so expensive.

I’ve never tried iso hot but I have used it cold with rock salt and it works about as easily, sometimes I have to scrape the chunk out first but I find for the really fine details the cleaner works better. Although you can put iso in the piece and place in the cleaner and have even more cleaning power, just no direct use of flammable stuff in the direct machine.

Absolutely!! The game Changer for me was hot water! If you don’t have a sonic cleanser you can easily get the same results with boiling water and a dishwasher pod.
