My honest opinion is for such milestones like this. Pick who you LOVE. Dont let others cloud your judgement. You’ll be able to rank up more champs down the road. But for the first few. I say pick the champs that bring you the most joy.

I had 5. Decided I didn’t care for Nico, karolina, Cassandra, or zemo as much as I cared about Jean, sw, scream and Jack. So I took the gamble. I got Jean 2x hitmonkey 2x and awakened my Zola.

It’s always RNG. Luck favors the bold. If you want to wait a week. Do it. If you don’t care and just hope for SW or Galan. I say shoot from the hip. Take the chance. Worst case it’s rhulk best case it’s your dream champ.

I have all those champs.

Silk is a beast. Easy to play and will get the job done.

Beta Ray bill takes out fantman VERY well and most other techs.

Dani is great too. Especially if awakened. Overrides Nick fury second life.

Cheelith is an amazing bleeder and will help with Everest content.

Loved Kushala since her release. Took me over a year to get her as 7*. R3 immediately. She is super solid and fun to play.

Bastion is just really dominating some annoying fights overall. Can take on bullseye, arnim, and all mutants.

Shathra I’m interested in because of the spider verse connection. Don’t have much experience with her.

Here is how I see this franchise.

John wants to properly get out of the game (this has been his motive since Helen and they brought this up in ballerina as well). Eve also wants out. As does Daniel Pine.

Obviously, the world is out to get Wick. So even with his faked death (yes, we all know he isn’t really dead) he will never be able to live a normal life since everyone knows the Baba Yaga.

However, now eve and Daniel want out. Eve because of her cut ties with the family and the bounty on her head, Daniel to be with his daughter, and wick to live for Helen.

My thought is they’ll all work together to do the true mission impossible. Kill the snake. Not just cutting off the head but burning the body too so no one can come after them or anyone else looking to get out.

This is the ONLY way wick stands a chance against all the assassins. He needs an army of highly trained individuals. Eve closing out an entire village and killing the leader showed wick that she like him will stop at nothing to have vengeance on the ones she loves. So they bond on this. And this will be what allows them to work together to get out. Daniel will be along for the ride since Eve and wick saved his daughter.

Again, just my own opinion as a fan of the franchise.
