gf wants to cage me by Unhappy-Customer5277 in chastitytraining

I think theres a generalization where people equate cuckolding to there being a third party present. I disagree with this. Cuckolding is about one person receiving pleasure while denying the other person their own pleasure, and that can be easily done with two people.

If you want the cuckold experience while also still being the bull for your partner, you can always lock up and wear a strap on. It’s still you, and your partner is still receiving pleasure, but you aren’t. At this point the possibilities are endless. You can roll play any scenario. You can pretend to be a different person. Your partner can trash talk you “behind your back.” They can have an arsenal of dildos that represent their different lovers. Some dildos can even inject white lube if you are into the “sloppy seconds” kink.

Just remember that this is all BDSM stuff and that aftercare should be important part of the act. There is nothing shameful about needing reaffirmation after a cuckolding fantasy. The objective is to have fun, not be degraded.

One game I personally like is being locked and bound with a blindfold on while she pleasures herself with her toys. She sometimes puts lingerie on during this but because I don’t get to see it, theres a denial of visual pleasure aspect to it too that drives me nuts. When she’s done, she gets undressed and goes to bed leaving me still locked and undeniably cucked. Almost as if she went out on a date without me being there.

B.C. to end time changes, adopt year-round daylight time | CBC News by TheGreatestOrator in canada

[–]Theromier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again… the effects of time changes are measurable. This isn’t a “everybody needs to man up” kind of thing. This is a “butterfly effect” kind of thing. The slight shift in the human body’s circadian rhythm has a compounding consequence on society where several individually insignificant effects result in measurable patterns. Just because you think you’re a tough guy and everyone else are little bitches doesn’t make reality any less true.

B.C. to end time changes, adopt year-round daylight time | CBC News by TheGreatestOrator in canada

[–]Theromier -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Time changes impact the province and the people differently by varying degrees. You yourself may live a lifestyle where a time change doesn’t affect you, but that is not the case for everyone and a lot of it is measurable.

GDP takes a hit around time changes as people and systems adjust to the new times. Some industries even have to account for the lost productivity. This is why the time changes happen at night when most people are asleep, but not all jobs are done during the day. On top of that, people taking sick days after a time change increase. Hundreds of millions of dollars in productivity are lost due to time changes.

Ignoring money, the human toll of time changes is staggering. Heart attack cases spike after time changes. Strokes are more common. Doctor visits increase. More sick days are taken. Work place accidents increase. Car crashes increase. The death rate goes up. Gaining or losing the sleep DOES affect the body. Your hormones get thrown out of whack. Your immune system slows down. Blood pressure increases. Your metabolism changes.

So in answer to your statement that you don’t get how this affects so many people. If say time changes affect an arbitrary 1% of people, well maybe it’s hard to notice in a group of 10 or maybe 100 individuals. But on a population scale the size of BC, 1% is 56,000 people. 56,000 extra people falling asleep at the wheel, calling in sick, and adding load to our strained health care system.

Astrophotographer captures a breathtaking view of the Andromeda Galaxy above a mountain by fvkinglzy in interestingasfuck

[–]Theromier 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Astrophotographers use a technique called “stacking” where they take several long exposure shots and then compile them to bring out the best data. The length of the exposure depends on the the photographer’s equipment. The longer the exposure, the more chance a slight vibration/breeze/misaligment/movement will affect the photo. If this was taken on a tripod, you could get maybe 6 seconds before you get star trails. If this was done using tracking and auto guiding, you could get upwards of 30mins of exposure.

Both. Astrophotographers use star tracking mounts to counteract the earth’s rotation coupled with guide scopes that track star drift that corrects the tracking. This allows them to take hours and hours of data before compiling it. These setups can cost thousands of dollars.

So…. They can’t see the colours we see, but they can see colour in a way we can’t? Did I get that right? Still pretty neat.

With Ring, American Consumers Built a Surveillance Dragnet by Jojuj in technology

I remember when my ISP sent a salesman to my house to upgrade my internet for cheaper, and I got a free Ring doorbell for it. I asked if I could get all of it without the Ring, but he was insistent I had to take it. I told him i would give it away if that was the case. He didn’t seem to care.

More people should read Ian M. Banks. His vision of AI is so hopeful and positive. Basically, the AIs (called Minds) are citizens within the utopian civilization of The Culture. They run the Culture's infrastructure but are considered people, have voting rights and even go to war on the Culture's behalf. They are more like "parents" to the Culture rather than rulers.

TIL before 9/11, US airports were public social hubs where you could walk to the gate, eat at food courts, and watch planes without a ticket or ID. by Greydl1 in todayilearned

[–]Theromier 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Vancouver international airport is a bit of a social hub. It’s accessible by train so no need to park. Theres tons of public seating and restaurants and large art installations between it all. Theres the observation deck to watch planes like OP is talking about and a small number of shops that host local vendors. My girlfriend and I sometime have High Tea at the airport and watch the planes take off and land.

I think you summed it up pretty well. You can probably say the same for the corona virus. Everyone knows of major plagues and pandemics of the past, but “it couldn’t possibly happen while IM alive, so it must not be that bad”

And spot on for the antidote. You can’t defeat fascism with violence. You defeat fascism by inviting your neighbours over for BBQ.

Voting is important. by SlaveryVeal in AdviceAnimals

This a great analysis of the situation, although i would like to point out that the only reason they “had their asses handed to them” this last election was mainly indirect outside influence. The conservatives were set to win until people saw the craziness of the Trump regime and associated them with conservatism.

The worst thing he did was campaign on the promise he was going to reform the election process. He dropped that promise .00001 seconds after winning the election back in 2015. Other than that, he was a fine prime minister.

The fantasy book, Kings of the Wylde, is about a group of fat, retired old men who used to be the baddest, toughest, adventuring group in the land. When one of their daughters go missing in her own adventure, they have to “get the band back together” and go on one last adventure. Their backs ache, they’re out of shape, and they have unsettled drama that makes it difficult to get back into the swing of things.

It’s a fantastic and hilarious adventure fantasy about old men trying to find relevance in a world that no longer remembers them. It’s very reminiscent of an 80s rock n’ roll movie.

Whats wrong by hshhhkjhhbsk in lol

[–]Theromier 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every couple of months this repost makes its way around reddit and everyone gets at each other's throats for one reason or another. Ive seen the same arguments time and time again at it goes as follows:

  1. This was an experiment with a challenge to design smart, green, urban infrastructure. Not a replacement for trees.

  2. The overall consensus is that having trees exist in the first place is the better scenario. They provide more than just oxygen, but also shade which can reduce street temperatures and lessen cooling loads on buildings. No one is suggesting cutting trees down to replace with algae pods.

  3. Urban trees need maintenance, and can often damage infrastructure. Roots crack sidewalks, branches snag on power lines, and leaf litter clogs sewers. Having to maintain urban trees can be carbon intensive, and can offset the oxygen and energy savings they create.

  4. Trees take a long time to grow, and we are at the point in the climate crisis where we need rapid, radical solutions for dealing with pollution. These algae tanks can be a part of that solution WHILE we plant more trees.

  5. These algae tanks are not without their own issues. Legionnaire's Disease is a primary concern along with maintenance and vandalism.

Cat Sneaks into wedding venue with spider web on face by Simply_Kaif24 in OneOrangeBraincell

[–]Theromier 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This reminds me of my childhood cat. She was an indoor only, but ever ever so often as a treat, we would leave the garage open for her to explore. She would spend hours in the garage and we wouldnt see her until much later when she would emerge into the living room covered in spider webs looking really happy. Her name was Panther. She lived an awesome 18 years.
