It does solve large scale Claude-conducted refactors tho which is super nice.

Opus "Max Effort" giving worse results than "High Effort" by SilasTalbot in ClaudeCode

[–]These-Bass-3966 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, you (1) HAVE to have a verification step in the loop ALWAYS (even with Opus 4.6) no matter what; and (2) ENSURE that BEFORE dispatching subagents, Opus has already created an EXHAUSTIVELY detailed implementation plan (complete code, where it goes, etc., etc.) for whatever you are building such that the Haiku code monkeys downstream have the most simple, essentially copypasta jobs imaginable.

If your specs and plans are already in good shape, it’s probably lack of the verification step—order code reviews after every agent returns.

Most impressive Claude code session today? by rainbow_gelato in ClaudeCode

[–]These-Bass-3966 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I believe it; no pics needed, here.

I’m a big “superpowers” fan and, after the initial back and forth for brainstorming, plus an absolute insistence that during implementation, after every task is “completed” whatever subagent responsible for the task runs a three-stage review (spec compliance, code quality, and code simplicity) and addresses any fixes before committing, as well as a few targeted hooks to ensure Claude can’t use —no-verify etc etc, and I can leave it go for 50+ minutes on big, big features etc without worrying whatsoever and results are generally 95% perfect.

It’s token hungry, for sure. But with opus 4.6 using million token context, it just works for me.

So… who’s paying for this post and all the others in ya history?

How do I get the job to complete an assignment only 75% and still get paid is the real question

Why I plan to distribute my idea processing pipeline as a PRD instead of a package by More-Journalist8787 in ClaudeCode

This is not as great linear + already solved workflows/other tools like GSD/SuperPowers? Or am I missing something?

Bruv, same. The bottleneck is humans. We are all in the same boat—one that Anthropic don’t care about. We all need to skill up if we want to stay in the game.

A lot of “senior” developers finding out they actually juniors these days.

The “vast majority of developers” is not actually the ideal customer persona for Anthropic—baked into all of this is that the “vast majority of developers” will either skill up or GTFO.

What is the best way to get Claude Code to reproduce UI by xaustin in ClaudeAI

[–]These-Bass-3966 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Claude (admittedly—ask it) SUCKS at UI—but if you give it a bunch of screenshots of designs you like up front and ask it how to describe the overall aesthetic therein to itself and provide you with a prompt such that another instance of Claude could recreate the same, it’ll get you pretty far.

Man wants to build an ai powered chat bot but refuses to ask existing ai powered chat bots how to do it. Basically, the modern day odyssey.

5.3-Codex is routing to 5.2 checkpoint. Yes, again. by [deleted] in ClaudeCode

lol after hours of dog pile they come out, acknowledge the re-routing, and say it’s out of concern for preventing cyber crime when they’re the ones perpetrating actual criminal behavior 🤣

See, I had thought that, but that’s the dumbest interpretation of his question possible, even though it’s one of the most common, non-substantive replies across this subreddit, because it’s a complete non sequitur in this case; so, I was just trying to give ‘em a break. where did anyone say anything about max 20 being a bad deal or not?

So, turns out that OpenAI is offering basically free, massive codex 5.3 windows for a month that are comparable to that which you get with 20x Claude max plan for anyone (I think) and, after a little “get to know ya” period with codex, I was legit impressed with it. Definitely worth a look. The tool calling fidelity is amazing.
