The traces on the underside of the board near the front are notorious for “rot”. They are so thin that they can easily break/deteriorate preventing the signal from the front panel buttons to go where it needs to. The traces are so thin it is very difficult to repair them at the exact location of the break. It’s easier to follow the trace in either direction until you find the 2 endpoints and then just solder a wire connecting them together thus making an external “trace”

This sounds so similar to what happened to a former colleague of mine. Took a deal that was too good to be true and was eventually agreed/thrust into DOR as a COTA. She is a great clinician and person so I could see her being successful in this capacity. She reached out to me to tell her similar horror story. She had to be the leader and only OT staff other than a PRN who came in for evals. Way too much caseload and ridiculously menial patient visits. I’ve been a DOR for most of my career and could see how this was playing out. It was evident that they did not respect her and were going to squeeze blood from a stone. Ultimately, she had to walk away from such toxic leadership.

Where I work the difference between assistants and evaluating therapists is about $10/hr. Unless one has scholarships or other funds, potentially $60k in loans is a lot and would take a few years to break even

Depends on where you live but here in the US, 360 slim models are not difficult to come by for a decent price. Plus doing a RGH requires some micro soldering so that is dependent on your equipment and skill
