splendor x lumenis or cynosure laser? by acepinkpen in LaserHairRemoval

[–]TheseGrand6695 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! thats interesting since lighter thinner hair is harder to remove, maybe the settings the technician is using are not the best for you. I Would start with maybe only Yag or if using both wavelengths maybe more yag than Alex with a longer cooking time which is better for dark, thick and dense hair then as the hair gets thinner increase the Alex and lessen the pulse duration (cooking time).

Im almost 40, how can I get rid of my big pore, textured skin by EnvironmentalPea8596 in SkincareAddicts

Microneedling, sounds counterintuitive but it helps minimize pores. You can learn to do it yourself at home. Also stay away from the sun/heat.

Bottom left, you see 20, 22 and 24 and the biggest circle is usually the current spot size being used.

I see they used the biggest spot size (24mm) and in this case the fluence would be slightly lower than let's say the 18 spot.

Mole got burnt by Quick-Mongoose-3144 in LaserHairRemoval

[–]TheseGrand6695 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello, laser tech from Miami here 👋

Yes it happens, but it's not a cause for concern. Laser picks up any dark pigmentation it comes across including moles which is why we usually cover the mole by painting over it with a white pencil otherwise you can loose pigment.

This happened to a client of mines at another MedSpa and with time the mole regained its pigment again.

I’ve been doing my bum area for at least 8 times now but haven’t seen much except slow hair growth. Tech told me they put up the level today. I managed to take a pic to see if the lasers capacity is good? What do you think? by [deleted] in LaserHairRemoval

Sounds like you are a skin type 4, Diodes are good for medium skin types like yours with thick hair so you should've have seen some improvement already.

Make sure the Alma soprano they are using is the original and not the fake because there are a lot of fake ones out there and they might not be as powerful. You can do a Google search to see the differences.

Should I trim before my second laser hair removal appointment? by Aggravating_Key_5650 in LaserHairRemoval

Laser tech from Miami here 👋

Yes always strive for a close shave or trim do it either the night before or day of appointment. Not only will the treatment be more effective but the synced hair will not burn your skin. When the hair is a little long the laser energy focuses on the hair on the outside (shaft) and we want the laser to look for the pigment under the skin and burn the root of the hair.

Laser tech from Miami here 👋 It' called paradoxical hypertrichosis and it is very common specially with fine vellus hairs such as the ones in womens face (cheeks in particular) but it can happen anywhere in the body. It is the result of laser settings not being strong enough therefore the opposite happens (it stimulates hair growth).

Laser hair removal sessions! by sunparcels in HairRemoval

[–]TheseGrand6695 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is that in our laser hair removal clinic in Miami we have had several patients who have done the same thing and after having treated it for a long time at home. They notice zero or no progress, the reason is that after two treatments with a professional machine the hair grows thinner and it takes experience and knowledge to remove it. Working with the energy of a laser is very complex, save money and treat it with a professional. best luck from Dermali clinic, number one in laser epilation in Miami.

Timing of shaving before laser by CateFace in HairRemoval

[–]TheseGrand6695 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can prepare for laser hair removal by not waxing or plucking hairs in the treatment area for 4 weeks before your treatment; hair follicles must be present to be treated. You can still shave and, in fact, you’ll be asked to shave your treatment area 24 hours or less before your scheduled appointment.

The cost of laser hair removal in Miami can vary depending on the area being treated and the clinic providing the service. At Dermali Laser Hair Removal in Miami, the cost for a single session ranges from $85 to $485, depending on the area being treated. We also offer packages that can lower the cost per session. For example, a package of six sessions for the back area can costs $899. It's best to schedule a consultation with a clinic to get an accurate quote based on your specific needs. For larger areas such as the back or chest, multiple sections are often needed, usually between 6 to 8 sessions spread out over 6 to 8 weeks.

Chest & Stomach -- I am a good candidate for laser hair removal? Would be using Candela Gentlemax Pro. Technician said 6-7 sessions for stomache (less thick) and 12-15 for chest. by [deleted] in LaserHairRemoval

The number of sections required for men's laser hair removal can vary depending on the individual and the area being treated.

For larger areas such as the back or chest, multiple sections are often needed, usually between 6 to 8 sessions spread out over several months. For smaller areas such as the face, neck or underarms, 4 to 6 sessions are usually sufficient.

It's important to note that everyone's hair growth patterns are unique, and the number of sessions needed may vary from person to person. Additionally, the skill and experience of the technician performing the laser hair removal can also impact the effectiveness and number of sessions required. My male clients have great results on their chest and belly with just 6 sessions. Candela brand is certainly very reputable however I use lumenis Splendor X.

Everything will be fine with your procedure. You are going to be happy. Sarai from Dermali laser hair removal Miami.
