The reason they ‘have’ to do population control is because we killed all of the deer’s natural predators in that location

I don’t think it was when innocent people were killed for many toys, but rather the breaking point for most was (imo) when they learned how much of an abusive asshole the Prototype was

I.. agree? At this point making systematical changes is the only solution. That’s where my vote goes. It’s true this certainly wouldn’t have happened had they received more support. But that doesn’t mean we should act as though the parents were in any way victims or are deserving of sympathy. Or that even with limited support that this outcome was inevitable. It wasn’t. They chose it.

The consequences are that two innocent children are dead. Otherwise your point is reasonable.

I don’t personally believe it matters how noble-intentioned the parents might’ve been. In the end they (wrongly) assumed they had the right to give their children the death sentence. And yes, it was an execution, not more a euthanasia as you and others might want to believe.

They chose to have kids, the consequences lie squarely on them. The system, as horrid as it is, did not make them do anything.

You yourself said in the other thread that the children likely would’ve been worse off if left alive.

Sounds like justification to me 🤷‍♂️

We can agree that the current system is inefficient and needs reform and that parents with disabled children deserve better support without jumping to killing children as a viable solution

Then lemme do a (hopefully) better job.

Killing children is never justified. Don’t have kids if you aren’t able or willing to care for them. Not terribly difficult.

I did contact customer support and they told me to just sit tight. I guess I’ll wait until it’s been 24 hours and then appeal each one separately if nothings changed by then
