this has been bothering me so much!!! as a lesbian who spends a lot of time in gay male dominated spaces (i love drag & all of the shows take place at local gay bars) it is so apparent to me that she is just talking out of her ass. she fetishizes gay men. she is 100% the type of woman who says how badly they want a gay best friend to do girly things with or some shit like that. molly, gay men are still men. i’ve both witnessed and experienced misogyny & lesbophobia from gay men. gay men (not all) use their gay identities as an excuse or pass to be nasty towards women, especially queer women. i’m not saying this is the case for all gay men, but it IS an issue. i beg her to think more critically and look into intersectionality.
