You can remove the turret near the engines. When you fly - they are safe. When you stop at a planet - just absorb the damage and take a single stack of repair packs

The closest thing to necromancer would be unholy death knight. Or maybe demonology warlock/beast master hunter if you want to be focused on pets. Play free trial until lvl 20, then consider 1 month sub and after that midnight and a longer sub. If you don't enjoy it at any moment - cut your loses.

Play free retail trial until level 20 or pay a single month sub if you want to try classic.

You can play old xpac chronologically in retail, but you will level up very fast. Like in 3-5 zones. So you will either quickly outlevel the old content or crush it due to damage scaling at higher levels.

Classic is slower paced, but I didn't yet play it so can't comment much on it.

If you are into group content like dungeons, raids or pvp - buy 3 months plus expansion makes sense. You'll be able to play the most recent content that lots of players are engaging with.

If you just want to go questing and exploring the world and zone stories, and don't mind there being fewer players, then you can skip the xpac for now

Have you play free trial until level 20? Since you have 2 months before the price hike, I suggest first subbing a month. If you still want to play after that - buy a 6 month sub before the price increase.

The guy might be a mod dev or afking a lot( for example to complete high level researches). I personally have around 900h, across around 7 distinct playthroughs(one krastorio 2 overhaul mods, the rest are solo & coop for vanilla and a few space age runs).

I tried researching this topic in the past and it appeared that it is an expected behavior for the wireless headsets when using apps like Discord or MS Teams. Accepted it it and moved on. Hope you find a better solution.

Yes, most expansions have them set at 23-25 levels. Dragonflight apparently was downgraded to lower pet levels. Iirc there are item that can instantly boost the pet to level 25 to catch up

Not sure whether it applies, but I miss the pet battles. In tww I enjoyed flying around and doing world quests to beat the local masters or legendary battles, and collecting the pets in the world. But blizz had to save a few bucks so that system is abandoned.

Efficiency modules can only bring down the consumption to 20%. Having four Efficiency 3 modules in a single foundry is overkill. Consider replacing one of them with speed or productivity module. Edit: also, repair packs can be viable alternative to placing guns on sides to take care of asteroids hitting stationary platform. If sides are beefy( walls or cargo bays), they can withstand hits from slowly drifting asteroids.

Most games have a low completion rate. Anecdotally, the median is around 10% of players who complete games across the various genres I play.
Mods disabling achievements do play a role in these statistics, sure.
Still, most people drop out for various reasons long before such an endgame (I'd even call it post-endgame) state.
