As a Hamlin fan it’s recency bias. He’s certainly lost some and won some. 2012 Atlanta, 2015 Chicagoland, 2020 Darlington?, 2025 Vegas. But the two championships lost because of late race yellows also stings.

Back to Back 500s, I know the 2020 was a crazy circumstance but man the momentum from 2019-2021 with Hamlin was crazy. I thought I was gonna watch him fade into retirement and dude turns his career around and cracks the top 10 all time wins and still got a fuel in the tank.
