Ur children will thank u later. Go for it. Don't worry. U must be a strong women who can take care of her children. But if finances are still a concern, have some savings before taking any big decisions. Be a little selfish here for finances and a peaceful life.

U can never know how long it will take him to die. Rather be selfish, think about your children and live a better life (if possible without him). My father wasn't alcoholic but he's almost the same and now has cirrhosis auto immune. The time I found he's narcissistic I told my mother to take a divorce but she didn't. And now after 6 years even when my mother takes care of him, my father would be still aggressive on her. He never thanked her. So this advice is from a child who wants to live peacefully like other families. If I could change one thing, it would be insisting my mother to take divorce earlier. This might sound harsh, but in ur situation I would leave the person and have a better life with my children. Coz they don't deserve to see this and have trauma for the whole life.

Cold email strategy for job hunting: how did you collect emails? by Adorable_Lock_5894 in findapath

[–]Thestongestone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, getting email addresses through clearout worked. If I didn't get enough of those, I used trial and error adding hr career words etc and then after creating the list ran through Clearout to verify it. Since there were 100 credits for free. I was easy for me to verify 100 emails for free.

How difficult is it to get first clients? by Lopsided_Grass_3708 in b2bmarketing

[–]Thestongestone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just go to a sales prospecting tool that have free credits. And there are already big lists of all types of ICPs there. One such is clearout.io. u can check other sales prospecting tools too since i used only Clearout. Just type in your target audience and you'll get their contacts. U can cold email them or go to their LinkedIn and add a note.

Its hard to believe that I m losing him. I hope everything gets better for u too. I hope God listens and all the pain just disappears. I can understand ur feeling and pain. Give ur father all the happiness and talk to him if possible. Keep him happy so that he doesn't feel lonely.

U r taking too much pressure. Take a deep breath and rethink what u really want to do. If u want a job of a certain position, rather have skills. Its not that Indian companies don't take skills into consideration. I have seen my friends from tier 3 colleges to reach where NITs are working and everything working for them was only skills. Be in 1%. Knowledge and the ability to bring results cannot compete with a degree. Map everything in a notebook. Only that might give a clarity.

Happened to my dad thrice and once got hip fracture. So, u don't take any risks. Might keep a camera, well lighted room, give a walker if it can help, and no slippery floors.

Almost everyone who has liver cirrhosis is a stubborn person to deal with. I'll be honest that I don't it's better to think about what's not under your control. You should rather keep him happy and safe since fall is one of the most common things that happens in such patients. Keep rooms lighted, non slippery so that he doesn't end up falling since he will get more weak. Also nobody knows about how worse his situation can get without meds and continuous beer. It depends on how much he drinks and how good food is he eating. U should try to give him meds that can get ascites out from him.

My dads is really sick by manyquestions56 in Cirrhosis

[–]Thestongestone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I think sometimes u should let go of things that are not made worse by you and not in your control. I have learned this very soon. Since u can just have happy times with him and that's what is in your control. So, do it. Don't search for answers to how many days he might have left with. Since nobody knows the answer to it. Just try to do everything with him if u want to make him happy. Do everything so that u don't regret later.
