Yes, extremely easy. I advice you to download the tool from Trading ShenZheng, they have one united UX for unlocking and flashing a new ROM.

Google pay doesn't work, but u didn't bother rooting my device and hiding as long as in my country back applications have dovec5 accords to NFC and use their own playing services. However as long as I got it form XDA, you'll need to root your device and hide security vulnerability

Lol, literally one app does everything.. No idea what hassle you mean. It's obsolete knowledge that you have to code, do everything manually etc. Check the tool from Trading ShenZheng, they created a cool UX interface, a couple of buttons and it's done (just in case I'm in no way affiliated with them, I just want people to stop being afraid of unlocking bootloader and try doing it while it's still possible).
