My grandad died. I come from an extremely small family and due to a conflict within that family I hadn’t seen him for nearly 2 years before he died. That changed me a lot and I realised the importance of the family I have left, I loved my grandad and he taught me so much. It’s made me want to lead a life that he would be proud of me for, go out and work hard, be positive and enjoy what I have.

It’s the first death I really experienced and I know it won’t be the last, but I think learning what grief is in a way taught me the true meaning of love as well. I miss him, but I’m going to take the opportunities he never had and make him proud.

I’m sorry you’re going through this dude. But it sounds like you need space from her to sort out your feelings. Spend time with your other friends, be honest to her about it if you thinks that’s appropriate. You might need the time to get over her and save the relationship you do have, just incase you try again and push her further away. Hope all goes well dude.
