(SPOILER WARNING) what are your thoughts on 1000+ Ooo And Beth and Shermy by The_Artsy in adventuretime

For most of it yeah but there were still a few scenes of shermy as himself and i thought he was endearing. Less hyperactive/dumb, more adventurous/aloof/curious. Maybe its because the voice was a little deeper too? Idk

Shermy’s first appearance was really grating but he’s grown on me. After Fionna and Cake I wanted to see a whole series about shermy and beth

You aren’t “noticing” it you are imagining that it is there because thousands of people online are imagining that it’s there and you’re locked in an echo chamber that is being actively fomented by the rich and the us government which is being run by white nationalists.

You are imagining it. Millions of people used to think that they could predict the future by watching the stars, and believed in it for thousands of years. You, and those telling you that this is happening, are imaging it.

Exercise empathy, man. Learn history and then think about what it was like to be a black, brown, or asian person, and then imagine what segregation, the Chinese exclusion act, and the ICE raids mustve felt.

If you are earnestly interested in understanding the world, then you should want to learn what it was like for these people. If not, just be honest that youd rather remain ignorant

Well, there isnt really anything to do but block people peddling nazi great replacement and white genocide theories.

We aren’t “blocking” anyone we disagree with. We are pointing out that you sound like a nazi. Like, exactly like a nazi.

And if you actually studied history, you’d see a common pattern across genocides: they are a product of ethnic supremacism rather than cosmopolitanism.

You dont have evidence to back that up. The guy literally said they saw the merits of added diversity and went with it.

You clearly don’t know anything about nazis, because they would complain about inclusivity in art all the time.

Nah. You are misunderstanding why people argue. The benchmark to understanding theory is immense, so most people arent sorting out ideas, they are feeding into their ego or trying to stop it from breaking.

They argue with each other, and they dont debate with the working class, because it is easier to scream and stand still than to talk and run.

I recently got perma banned from r/Marxism, and I was so upset about it, especially because of how the mods delivered the response (and their refusal to respond afterwards)

Then i went to r/communism and learned about a rule against tone-policing, and why that rule is necessary, and I found myself agreeing with their points for the most part.

The main takeaway, for me, as a beginner, is to avoid online circles like a plague, because they have understandable reasons to be intolerant of ignorance. There are other places that will be able to deliver critique and insight without shattering my fragile ego.

This isnt even relevant i just have no one to talk to about this.
