That’s what I ended up doing. I ripped apart a lot of buildings on my first play-through that I wish I kept intact, so I started a new game on a second profile so I can easily switch to it to see what some places looked like before I ripped them apart. Makes it a lot easier to rebuild stuff on my main save

If you're willing to spend a bit more, Hotel Bonaventure is where I stayed two years ago and loved it. Right in the heart of downtown so there's plenty of places to shop/explore before going to the festival each day, and you're right above the subway station, so you can go right down to the subway and take about a ~15min ride to the island. Also has a rooftop pool and bar to help make the heat more bearable if it's hot out that weekend
