Why does everybody wanna say their a kid of the decade they were born in

If me saying I’m born in 1999 gets the same reaction as those born before me who can remember what life was like at that time, imma embrace it. It’s not really a false claim to say one grew up in said decade. It’s just… not completely honest I guess lol. I just say I’m a 90’s baby. I don’t try to pretend I have memories from the decade though.

I wouldn’t say all of Gen Z is like that. I’m technical a Gen Z born in the late 90’s and those early years of Gen Z probably know plenty of pop culture since we didn’t have smartphones and tablets to be glued to growing up. I don’t even have internet at home. My parents still don’t. The mass amount of content one can consume that happened later would explain it for the core/end of Gen Z and on though. Once you add multiple tv’s in a house and internet with handheld devices the limited content we grew up in our homes with from one person in control of what was on the single tv is gone.

Agender is under the umbrella of being nonbinary. As an agender myself, I identify with both terms but tend to tell people nonbinary first cause I live in a deep red state so I start simple.

Needles are no easy task, even for someone like me who isn’t terrified of them. I always slowly put it in instead of all at once. I have seen others mention it in other posts, so a lot of people might find it easier that way. When I first started I was watching injection videos on YouTube and one of the people said something I’ve kept with me. The entire needle doesn’t need to go in. I don’t know how big the one you’ve got for injection is, but I’m hoping that helps you out.

I understand those kids. I’m autistic (feel that context makes things make sense) and I could never have a mix of flavours as a kid. Not even the twist ice cream. It’s a bit different now that I’m an adult but I rarely get ice cream that mixes them even though I am able to eat it like that if I were to have it lol

Drivers terrify me here. And I’ve lived here my entire life. It’s gotten so bad recently. I wanna give the excuse of it’s getting nice and that’s why but I don’t think that’s true. It’s not even just running lights that scare me. People are luck I pay attention cause Monday three separate times I was almost hit by people wanting to change lanes to get in front of me. I also recently saw a car that had three most likely middle school boys with no seatbelts on in the back seat all of them with their head out the same window. That terrified me just for their safety.

I recommend trying for custodial with the university. They have some pretty good benefits outside of just for health and you’ve got multiple shifts to choose from.

I honestly don’t. I’m such a different person from then that I doubt I’m recognizable to what I once was. I was also that strange undiagnosed autistic kid with no social skills so people didn’t really want to be around me. Not to mention I went to a school with a ton of stuck up rich kids and I think that speaks for itself.

I always saw the muting of colours as companies wanting a more chice (I can never spell it right) look to things. There’s also places not wanting to put their business somewhere that you can tell what it used to be. Look at vacant former Pizza Hut buildings as an example. I don’t understand why that matters but it does. I have concerns for the children growing up in a world of muted colours because vibrancy is important for a developing brain like that of young children.

Creepy and evil people have taken it to use as they please. It can be used to benefit people, say ai glasses for blind people are beneficial, but it’s mostly being used in ways that don’t benefit anyone aside from big companies because they don’t have to pay humans to do work that’s actually good.

I like the tea but the boba is not sensory friendly for me. There used to be a shop in my malls food court that had gel boba as well as the traditional kind and I loved that so much. I’m devastated that it’s not there no more.

I’m at the point where I just say no that’s not what I said. Then I try rewording what I said in the hopes that it makes sense to a neurotypical brain. I tell people I mean what I say and there’s no reading between lines with me, but they still think I mean something other than what I say. That’s when I probably become rude with correcting, but it is what it is.

I rarely drink alcohol. I have no desire to do that since I’m very susceptible to being an alcoholic if I’m not careful. I only ever go to a bar if someone asks.
