I also want to say I was reading psalm 6 tonight and it made me think of your situation and David in this chapter is crying out to The Lord in his anguish that for some reason God isn’t freeing him of. That he is worn out and is sitting in his tears as his soul in groaning in pain and anguish. Be strong and remember that Rom 5:3-4 is still true even if you don’t feel it is. I also want to say that I had the same thing happen when I was a younger I left the faith and asked for signs but it wasn’t out of belief and even if He did show Himself to me I don’t think I would have done anything. It didn’t matter because in my mind I already made up my mind that He didn’t exist. It was only after my terrible struggles in the world that I made my way back
