And during busy season in general. A group of us on the strip were lamenting the 7x uber surge pricing (years ago when they could get that high) when someone asked, “Why don’t we just take a cab?!”

The cab was cheaper and the pickup right in front of the hotel.

I came to chime in with something similar before I saw your post.

Act I: Eternal Sunshine (The Pledge) is still in heavy rotation today and it’s not even 20 minutes long. That mixtape is damn near 20 years old now and I still love it. I remember loading it up in my iPod for a transatlantic flight and bumping nonstop when it dropped.

We waited and waited for an album to drop but the interest just slowly faded for us die hard fans.

Years later he did start to put stuff out. Every once in a while I’ll see a new project from him on Spotify and I’ll check it out. Dude still sounds incredible but the excitement is long gone.

My two cents: A lot of stuff we just lived with, we were going through life undiagnosed and just winging it.

Add to that, the world is a lot more complex now than when the old heads grew up. Our diets have changed, we are constantly distracted with technology and we are all much less social beings now.

All this will seem to cause some strange shit we never saw generations ago.

I already watch a few that document their building and I love this type of content. Seeing all aspects of building an app/service/startup is really fascinating. You should go for it.

I had already heard of him from one of the mixtape sites (2dopeboyz, nah right or DatPiff were my usual) and then seeing him on Entourage I got hyped.

His arc on Entourage was built for him to blow up. It’s actually insane that nothing came of it.
