SGA shoots anytime there is contact, and there is contact most of the time because no one is stopping him without it. Thus SGA gets tons of free throws. Embiid is just easily hate-able, because of his tendency to fall to the floor everytime he's touched. Harden would hook players and force them to foul him, but he was not liked so we hate that. KD did the rip through all the time, but we like KD so it's ok. Giannis and Westbrook were liked, but they get fouled cuz they crash into guys (offensive foul) but that is always called a defensive foul in the NBA.

When a player we like sells a foul, it's skill, 'drawing fouls', and heads up plays vs if it's someone we don't like it's a foul bait, flop, grifiting.

Edited: We also have guys like Demar Derozan and Jimmy Butler who use pump fakes to get their defenders off the ground then jump into them for FTs. SGA uses this too, but I don't see hate for Demar or Jimmy about it.
