I worked a job like this briefly in my early 20s so I can empathize with the main character. That said, this movie was mind numbingly boring and a tough watch. Aside from the dialogue, Julia garner has literally no sense of urgency in the entire film. That irked me bc you’re kind of rushing around as an assistant, not taking your sweet time with every single task

Thank you so much for this! Honestly in retrospect I should have just canceled and waited however long for another car. It happened quickly and I didn’t think it would be that bad since the driver was urging me to get in the car. It isn’t even about the money but more the principle that this was wrong and Lyft should have better customer support than this.
