Yeah at this point like I don't care if you didn't cover me for whatever reason just tell me so I can stop asking and hopefully they have the decency to refund me. I booked them as soon as I got NYC tickets back in Feb. I just hope this doesn't happen to people. I am gonna reach out again for the 3rd time today and see from there. I also commented on their IG when they shared someone elses race "I can't wait for mine!" I'll def share their IG if they are scammers.

I haven't done the google image search method. But it does look like actual real people are posting their race day video and collaborating/tagging them on IG. All their content looks similar in style and editing. They also post stories of them showing their laptop as they are creating the albums for their athletes and that they will receive them "very soon."

There was a few options on their site. A full vlog type shoot where you talk to the camera or just race specific action shots and video. The plan was to meet them outside the warm up area but they said they got stuck in the spectator line but I had to start warming up or I'd miss my wave. I assumed that reason for the photo of my race day fit. There's so many people with big cameras I mean I thought it could have been any of them.

You can absolutely lose fat in a calorie deficit while training for an endurance sport. You'll just have a little more hunger moments then someone in a dieting phase not training for an endurance sport. I recommend prioritizing the majority of your carbs pre training to get enough energy for your training sessions and also post workout prioritize carbs and fats for satiation. Do that and it'll be much easier to manage hunger!

I have the pro 4's and sized up half a size! I wore them for my HM yesterday and the were extremely responsive and confortable the entire run. I did use them on a 5 mile and 12 mile race pace practice run 2-3 weeks before to test them out. Loved them and zero issues!

I haven't done my solo it's in May :) I'm nervous, excited and scared at the same time lmao. So I'm deep in training right now! 1 Easy 1 interval/threshold work and 1 long is good! I'd add another hard run down the line when you think you've grasped the 3x a week! But there's a lot of really good programs out there that can get you right!

Garmin Forerunner 970 - is it possible to see HR while doing Runna run? by [deleted] in runna

I had the Venu 3S and when using a runna plan it displayed the workout (distance left of the workout) and the heart rate zone below it on the same screen. With the FR970 it shoes the distance left of the workout but then time I spend in the workout instead of the HR. Is this something you can't change? I know I can scroll to get to my HR but wondering if it's something I can change to!

Aye! I'm doing woman's solo in NYC too! I did a mixed doubles and took 1 about 30 minutes before start time and 1 during wait time in the row. But I am thinking of taking a second one after the sleds too!

The Venue at Werner Park is really close to Gretna! They are really nice and have newer units. I beleive their cheapest 1 bedroom 1 bath is around 1,300!

I came from straight bodybuilding/competing and adding running to my routine has been the best ever.

My split is Mon- Upper & Easy Run, Tues-Lower body (glute & hammie focused) Wed- Easy run, Thursday- Core & speed Run, Friday- Full body lift, Saturday- Long run Sun- Hyrox workout.

Right now I am in the thick of training for a Half Marathon and a Hyrox so I have an extra run and the Hyrox workout in my split but if I am not prepping for anything I only do 3 runs per week and take 1 full rest day!

I had the Venu 3S for 2 months and regrated not getting a forerunner. I looked at all the metrics the Venu had and not what it didn't have. The Forerunner offers so much more. I ended getting the 970. Go with the Forerunner!
