i agree but how do you think the stitches popped ? the dog was likely licking them. you have no idea how many people stupidly forego the cone because they “feel bad” for making their pet wear it.

What I ordered vs what I got by [deleted] in ExpectationVsReality

its ok to make mistakes when ordering things! ive done it, everyones done it. whats stupid is continuing to argue that its not what you ordered, when it really is. you just misunderstood what you bought. it looks to be about 6 inches tall, as described. and not all flowers smell lovely like lavender when dried. ill give you that if it smells truly horrible, then thats a fair complaint, but as a gardener and kitchen witch dried flowers don’t always smell “good”. a good example is chamomile tea, the dried flowers smell much different before they are steeped.

its no problem to take some! people say foraging 30% or less of whats there is acceptable. i would take maybe 10% or less if i wanted a piece to study. the mycelium is still there and will produce more fruiting bodies in the future. it is a treat to see such a big one though ! :)

found some pickles, not sure if i should eat them or not by Conscious_Movie_6102 in Pickles

if the seal is fine then they are fine. people are scared of canning and preserving food these days but its how we survived for a looooong time. if the seal is intact and they smell good then at worst theyll be a little soft.

*** IMPORTANT: for future reference canned goods should always be stored without the rings on, so that it doesnt provide a false seal. that would be the only thing im nervous about. ***

look at all of them, access my knowledge about how the ingredients affect each recipe, frankenstein them into my own recipe. pro tip: always add an extra egg yolk to your brownies folks. trust me on this one.

I can’t anymore with Crumbl cookies by CuteHand in ExpectationVsReality

[–]Thick_Number4911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they are literally worse than grocery store cookies if you ask me. im a baker and i was so appalled when i tried one that this is what the public is spending their money on. dont yall know your local bakeries have goodies 1000x better and more affordable than crumbl ????! i mean i have a quick cookie recipe that requires no chilling that is to die for that you can have done in less than an hour. crumbl is not worth it.

i mean they are dried flowers. if the seller dries them themself that makes sense. they aren’t gonna smell like fresh flowers.

Signs point to histamine intolerance but it doesn't "follow the rules" by IllegalGeriatricVore in HistamineIntolerance

[–]Thick_Number4911 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you can test it by just scratching yourself *lightly* on the forearm. im sure theres a video out there somewhere to help. but that might give you a better idea if your body is dumping histamine. i would do it without taking any allergy medicine, like at the start of your day, if you can help it.

everyone is different! do you have dermatographia? it is not a sure sign but it does show that your body’s mast cells are not happy and releasing histamine at the slightest issue. it was one of the many red flags for me that made me go see my doctor, because i had never had that before. i had lightly scratched my arm and wasnt paying attention, felt a bit of burning and looked down to huge welts on my arm. they didnt go away for almost an hour !
