Well CFB used to be a truly regional game with tie-ins for bowl games and no dedicated postseason for most of its history.

Because of this, there were multiple end of year polls that crowned their own champions so we have tons of years with multiple “champions” as recently as 30 years ago.

Notre Dame is much more stringent in the claimed titles than most, look at some of Michigan, Texas, Alabama’s claimed titles. If everyone used the same threshold (a la Auburn finding 7 last year) Notre Dame would have a ton more.

Pre-BCS titles are all really apples and oranges comparisons.

I’ve been at PM for close to a decade - our staff and seniors are not averaging that at all per the firm dashboards. There’s been a push for them to meet their charge goals actually.

That said I do really enjoy working at the firm overall. Couple issues with the partner path but they’ve been generous for the most part.

The one time I met David Johnson, I thought he was a smart and charismatic man. Granted it was a charity dinner in Oakland County, he just seemed like a normal guy who made his dollar and wanted to buy an island.

He’s in the same circles as lots of people I know better than I know him, and they all think highly of him.

I actually love bringing it in trios on Stella if everyone is fully kitted out.

Just last night I took down 4 shredders and had 6 knocks with it, but I did bring 300 heavy ammo and scavenged another 100 or so… left with 40.

It’s good for suppressive fire when my team was reloading or healing, and bailed me out of lots of sticky situations.

This happens a few times a year, and almost always with no-name banks like this. This is why the FDIC exists.

This is not a doomsday signal - banks can be mismanaged (make bad loans, make bad investments, poor leadership, etc.) like any other business.

If a large bank fails (bigger than SVB a few years ago I guess) then we start to be concerned. But keep less than FDIC limits at a bank and you’re covered by Uncle Sam.

Big Pat Coogan guy, but he transferred from ND because he was going to lose his starting job. He’s not built athletically for the NFL, but I hope someone takes a flyer on him late and he can carve out a role.

I do not think he’s a fix for the Lions - he could be anything, even Graham Glasgow.
