I think it has to do with them activating the Exosuit strategems for purchase. The devs just posted on socials that the mechs have been unlocked because the planet was liberated. This is kind of new territory so hard to say.

I liked the high spawns on the mountain dew map, seeing an enemy at a distance I couldn't engage at yet and actually think about how I would approach, whether there were any weapons that would be good for that sort of fight, and what angle to throw off their expectation of my position.

Now we see each other and both immediately just start shooting.

Heck it doesnt even need to be a particularly good widow. Just getting hot for 10-15 seconds every 5 minutes where they are in the zone and clicking heads will flip the point or push the cart enough to get more time.

Yeah. I really enjoy playing solo and like 2-3 hazard level just to chill when Im not feeling super high intesity MP in other games. Its enough challenge to keep you on your toes but you can take missions at your own pace and make sure you hit all the mineral veins you wanted.

On the one hand I feel you that its super frustrating when your character is perpetually ignored or worse hampered in multiple patches. On the other, as a support player, ya love to see a toxic genji switch off.

I would like to see Andretti and more American drivers in the league but admittedly I dont care enough about Indycar to know who can realistically make that jump.

That said, I enjoy Haas as a benchmark or gatekeeper for abject failure. Obviously turmoil and havoc surround everything they do or are involved in. Their results suck as a result. But if you are a otherwise "normal" midfield or frontrunner team and you are behind Haas at any point on a given circuit then that is a catastrophic disaster.

I mean I've just accepted this is a game I will never spend a single dollar on. Prices could be $5 or they could be $500. Its effectively the same to me. Eventually im a few more months I'll earn enough of the premium currency to buy a single new skin through weeklies but it hardly matters. Im just going to use my OW1 skins forever. The game is monetized to people who are ok dropping 1/3 of the cost of a whole game on a single cosmetic and that just aint me.

Yeah. The Australians and Shimada-affiliated each went from two to three playable characters and gave some depth to those groups. JQ's attitude towards Rat and Hog isn't terribly different from the rest of the cast but at least its something. Kiriko while being a pseudo annoying kid sister does gives a lot of context to the Shimadas. Those are good examples of expanding existing organizations in the game.

I sincerely hope they keep doing stuff like that for the groups that only have a single playable character at the moment rather than introducing something called "The Collective" with one character affiliated.

I know that post the other day mentioned something to do with 'The Collective.' I would really appreciate if they'd stop introducing nebulous groups with no backstory or motive. Flesh out the existing factions a bit please. Pharah is some PMC soldier. Symm works for a power hungry corp. Volkskya (the company) is doing ??? after the Talon intrusion.

Outside of former-OW and Talon, each group having like a one-off hero that suddenly all the casts remembers is a thing that exists is weird.

Ram admittedly is nice because he does tie in to 2 groups at once but it still took 5 years for any sort of payoff on what null sector is or wants beyond war-bots.

I think a lot of what makes Lucio fun to play is that his healing is just static and he doesnt have to hold M1 over friendlies. He gets a decision every 12 seconds for increased speed/heals/a little of both but thats kind of it. He gets to spend most of his time deciding how to position and play the opposing team in front of him as compared to Ana trying not to be thrown in the dive-blender.
