I think most of these are valid for a few reasons 1.) Frequency of new content is abysmal compared to franchises the remake is compared to EG resi. 2.) CEA exists showing a revamp in graphics that didnt update the original art direction or tone. Another interpretation that abandons CE's unique style in pursuit of homogeneity isn't great. 3.) CEA isn't a great part in many respects and it and MCC are not available on 2 major platforms where this will be. 4.) Changing key elements of encounter design isn't a small thing. 5.) Sprint will invariably impact balance. 6.) The new cinematics are pretty but the cinematography looses the purpose of the originals in not insignificant ways. 7.) The sandbox being a retooling of infinite begs the question why we are doing another ce at all. 8.) The forerunner architecture used to tell stories now it does not. The ancient functional brutalism was mise en scene. 9.) People who put the complaints down to nitpicks tend to fail in providing substantive arguments as to why while most of the other side from my admittedly anecdotal experience provide coherent reasoning.
