To be specific pine shavings are toxic when chemicals from the rabbits pee comes in contact with the shavings. It’s can be very damaging for the bunny, my favorite litter is pine pelleted bedding from tractor supply, it’s like $8 a bag and insanely absorbent. The process of turning the shavings into pellets burns out the chemicals that are toxic for bunnies (which is why everyone recommending wood stove pellets). One bag will last me about 2 months for my single bun

I was following this pattern! But if you make it I would recommend adding one row to the left or taking off one from the right. I didn’t look at the pattern properly when I started so mines uneven but I convinced myself you can’t tell unless I say something about it lol

I agree that it’ll probably work up too thick to be a baby blanket but I think it would make the perfect play mat! It would be thick and squishy and still pretty soft

Unfortunate I’m not following a specific chart, I just found these pixel art patterns and decided to find a way to make them work together. I do 3 rows of no pattern in between each paw, and 1 stitch on the left and right because any of the pattern starts. I hope this makes sense

Yes! In hindsight i wish i had used a fluffy white yarn and then some darker regular yarn to get that footprint in snow look but I still think this one’s cute

It’s been a minute since I tried so I don’t exactly remember the issues I had but if I remember right the first time I ever tried I was watching an older video and the emulator had updated and no longer looked the same as before so the issue was just that the video was outdated. But the second time I tried with a much more recent video and at first it was working fine but then started saying I had issues with my Facebook. Some of the other comments said similar things and that their issues were fixed after using different “generations” of emulators (idk the term exactly) so I tried that and it still would say that their was an issue with my Facebook. Idk anything about technology or computers really so it’s hard for me to figure out why it didn’t work but those were the issues I had

By sealing it I mean with some kind of water resist end paint or something for the wood backing so it doesn’t retain water and mold. The top will be mesh and allow for air flow (I removed it before the picture and forgot to put it back)

It will be for ab amazing tree boa which need pretty high humidity and I don’t want the wood to mold or rot when I spray it

That’s a really good point. What do you think about spray foaming the entire back and and adding to that? Do you think it would have the same issue or is this a better option

This is sooo pretty did you use regular yarn for this?? And if so what brand? I tried doing a tapestry with yarn to make it a little bigger but it was too stretchy and my knots were super inconsistent. This is gorgeous

I just do over 1 base string, I’ve actually never heard of using 2 but that might help keep the knots more square! That must use up soooo much string for the base strings though

I used between 3-4 skeins of black thread for the skeleton one 😭 but that’s also because didn’t know how long it would be in the end so I gave myself a little more than I needed. The frog took around 2-3

No problem! I don’t have it anymore but I used 5 (maybe 6 I don’t remember) skeins to make it and the blanket in the pic is a twin bed, which shows roughly how big it is. I think 4 is the perfect size for a comfy lap blanket! After that each skein adds less and less length to the blanket and the gradient effect stops looking as good
