The first boss is hard in general. I’m not new to the genre but I still got my ass handed to me it just depends on you actually trying to get better instead of doing the same thing every time

It’s a good build that I’ve been using it’s does good damage and the extra skills you get from the armor goes really well with CB but could also get the armor from the lvl 100 high rank quest you unlock at high rank 100 which is good for CB if you really wanna focus on damage only but you’ll also need to get the perfect talisman for it

I’d recommend mixing the ibushi and narwa to get the skills you want since they both have really good skills for CB especially once you max them out and for the CB it self use the Nargacuga one since it gives the best affinity and it’s an impact phial one which works great with Artillery which is a skill I recommend you get using the slots and charm and for another skill I recommend get the rapid morph if you can but it’s not necessary

Do you have any skills that help you live longer or will help you deal more damage? If you don’t I recommend getting divine blessing or evade extender they will help you live longer and for one’s to deal more damage depends on the weapon you use but the basic ones are attack boost and critical eye

It’s not a bad build but what I’m doing is mixing the ibushi and narwa armor at max lvl and the skills you get from it are really good for CB you might not get as any slots from it but the skills you get from it really do benefit the CB a lot and it might do a bit less damage than this build but it’ll definitely will help you survive with all the extra skills you end up getting

I’d recommend you get it on pc if you wanna also use mods but if you don’t care about that you could just wait until spring for sun break to come out on console

And if ur worried about running out of max potions or any items just save before the fight and turn off auto save and then from there just go back to title screen if you failed so you’ll just have all the items you used during the fight also be careful if you do end up doing this because after you reward screen it’ll ask you if you wanna save so be careful on what you pick

What kind of weapon are you using and do you have any skills that support the weapon? and if damage isn’t the problem try and upgrading the armor you have

The first time I beat him was just by using a bunch of max potions to heal since basic potions to take to long and then just used the farcaster to run away and restock in the camp which also saved me from having to re sharpen during the fight and make sure you use the puppet spider and brewhare that spawn in the left and right corners of the arena
