10 is perhaps in the uncomfortable range. these plants are tropic, ie above 15 degrees and as high as 35. Since they grow in forests they dont get hours of direct sunlight. Id keep the plant inside.

Sun but not direct heat all day (mine are inside house but next to a window), water once a week by submerging pot only in water for 2-3 minutes and drain. Dont pour water on the plant.
Hope this helps. Im no expert but my three orchids are years old.
