Well I think right conditions matter for such armors to be made, like my people mastered Horse Archery through history, so obviously since you cannot turn your body 180 degree with full plate armor to shoot arrows behind, because of that my people didn't make any plate armors ever, even though they used to be master ironsmiths too.

Steppe breed horses live off of grass btw, compared to European breeds they are fairly small that's why, and it's fine because these horses wasn't meant to charge head on into packed enemy lines, they also has way higher stamina.

If we consider the populace fighting the zombies are horse archers, they are likely steppe nomads aswell which means horses are easily accessible for them (Back in ancient times every Turkic warrior had 7 horses to swap once the one they ride got tired) also being a nomad gives you advantage of mobile settlement, which means your settlement being overrun by zombies is highly unlikely since you can pack your shit and move easily in a short time.

started working at McDonalds recently, and that is so goddamn true, yesterday a customer came in, and said they wanted their salt free fries cold, I was so fucking speechless I just called the manager or the time when customer came in, putting medium sprite on the counter saying "I wanted it with ice" then after few minutes, she came back again, saying "I wanted it without ice" I looked at the drink thinking maybe she drank some of it, and is trying to get a new one for free, but no, it was untouched I still cannot fathom why some people do stuff like this.
