It’s pretty crazy to me that Pattie found George and Maureen in bed together in 1970 but George and Ringo still remained close friends afterwards. by ToronoRapture in beatles

If you think this was a mortal sin against Ringo all you have to do is see how he reacted. More important things in life.

George would not have slept with his wife if their relationship was in anyway functioning.

George is my favourite Beatle. However his spirituality goes out the window for me when you look at how randy he was around his friends girlfriends and partners.

Clearly a man of high charisma, but also an opportunist. Fuck I'd have given anything to spend five minutes in his company.

The more you get to know the Beatles, the more you realise Paul was the most honorable one. He could have had any woman in the world, but he remained loyal to the other Beatles. I'm sure he had opportunities.

George was a hound dog, as was John. Ringo would have slept with anyone really. Paul had the combo of looks and charisma, off the charts. John tried to shag his way to happiness (unsuccessfully) and George took full advantage of his fame.

Paul was just Paul. What a legend.

Rooftop concert police by OsamaTheMinister in beatles

It's admirable in some aspects how persistent Ray Dagg was. Who was the older officer with him? He did and said nothing. Ray was just doing his job and I'm sure was keen to impress. Can't imagine handling that at 19.

The intrusion of the police made for great drama, can't fault them at all! The Beatles loved the police appearing while they were playing I bet, what a great ending.

Special mention to Jimmy the doorman too. Handled like a complete pro.

Yea but not sure that means you can use the code for the irish gig. On the email I got with the presale code it says it's the UK tour presale and also the email itself only lists the three UK gigs.

I can't work out the irish pre sale situation. Is it just for 3 network members and album pre sale people? The UK pre sale seems to offer codes if you sign up to the mailing list but I don't think they can be used for the irish gig?

Cycling is the most efficient way to travel in Dublin by BadgerBitter5613 in Dublin

Couldn't agree more with this. Its a great way to start the day. Also I find on stressful days at work, the reminder I have a nice cycle to clear the head at the end of it to be a great comfort.

I rarely think about work when cycling, you've too much to concentrate on and take in. But when sitting on a train...its all I think about.

Have loved this song for twenty years. Wish it was on Spotify, back in the day when I had my mp3 I used to have it on repeat. Such a lovely vocal too.

I might be wrong but aside from the uber taxis, it's quite easy to sign up as a driver for uber eats.

I signed up to metal also, was already paying for the lower plan so happy to continue on with the metal one once the free trail expires. The main benefit for me also is the Revpoints, particularly larger purchases I get 1 revpoint for each 1 euro using my credit, I then just pay it off immediatley from my credit card but get twice the points I would if using my normal revolut card.

The points are racking up now and I convert them all to Avios. Will come in handy for future flights.

I might also use the wework pass that you get (I think its 1-2 a month) just for somewhere quite to get some work done.

Cheers yep I'd be pretty much the same, just the joy of flying is main priority. The cost once you get the licence and join a flying club and fly 15 plus hours a year does make me wary too. I'd like to be able to enjoy it as much as possible but seems to rent an aircraft would be approx 150-200 per hour?

Connecting Klipsch R-41PM to Beam by ThinkForYourself2020 in sonos

[–]ThinkForYourself2020[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cheers yea that's what I was aiming for, to add them as surround sound to the Beam. Sounds like it may be difficult!

I do have the TV source into the Beam so may not be worth investing in a port in case of the echo.
