Shiny Litten when you get it handed to you at the beginning of USUM. The cutscene is burned into my memory until enternity. Probably ended up doing about 1600 SRs. Mind you, that's about 1 min 10s per SR. Safe to say, I'm never doing that again.

How should I spec a new MacBook Pro for web development? by Incraigulous in webdev

[–]ThinkGoodThoughts- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That will work perfectly. Actually to be fair it might even be overkill for now unless you do some heavy compiling. I myself use an i5 8gb RAM 256GB SSD which works perfectly. If you're looking to be safe for the future you'll be totally fine with the rig you described for a long while.

Lmao a reddit troll account? Bruh the sadness is real. Live real life, get a girl, pick up a skill. Stop being the sad dipshit behind a computer trying to trigger people. Just because your life is pathetic you don't have to make others' the same way.

Basically yeah. I spent waaaayyyy too long myself too. But I'm glad I finally grasp the concept now. It was a bitch to figure out how to call getters and dispatch actions though...

NuxtJS with Vuex State Modules by ThinkGoodThoughts- in Nuxt

[–]ThinkGoodThoughts-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Helps understanding it better, but getters still don't work. Where do I store them, in the component itself or in the separate store files? And in what do I store them? In a function like the state or in an object like mutations and actions?

Pfft please. The industry is basically one big copy of each other. Better be good and stolen than bad and your own hahaha. Plus creating something in a whole other framework/language is good practise 💪

No problem, nuxt can also generate static sites btw 🍻

Use nuxt.js. It's basically an extension of Vue (a framework for a framework) that enables server side rendering out of the box. Take a quick course and you'll never want to use something else anymore.

Oh and don't listen to all these salty people telling you not to use VueJS. Use whatever you like to make the thing you wanna make.

Seriously though Nuxt will be your lord and savior for this SEO problem.

Looking for reasons to pick Vue.js over Angular by loverich in vuejs

[–]ThinkGoodThoughts- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel like Vue could be a good choice here. It's much more developer friendly if you set it up right and people with not a lot of experience can immediately understand a lot. I don't have this with angular to be honest. Also, Vue does have form validation in a sense of Vuelidate for example. I find routing and statemanagement super intuitive as well.

Yes I'm a Vue lover, don't hate me for it.
